McClure is an unincorporated community in Dickenson County that's carved out its own identity along the scenic McClure River and Virginia State Route 63. Once home to a post office that served residents from 1919 until 2011, McClure maintains its own ZIP code (24269) and continues to be a recognizable landmark in the region, situated just 5.5 miles southeast of Clintwood.
