RANKIN GEAR

Rankin stands as the county seat of Upton County, named after local rancher F.E. Rankin. The city's story is deeply rooted in oil, the discovery of the nearby Yates Oil Field sparked growth during the early 20th century, establishing Rankin as a hub of economic activity. Though the region faced challenges following the oil boom of the '80s, Rankin remains a testament to Texas resilience and heritage, with a tight-knit community of roughly 780 residents. Wear your Upton County roots proudly. Hometown Supply Co delivers authentic Rankin merchandise that celebrates your connection to this historic Texas town.
