Founded in 1902 as Herbert in Indian Territory, Wardville carries rich territorial heritage. The town was renamed in 1907 to honor Henry Pleasant Ward, the area's influential first postmaster who served in the territorial House of Representatives and Senate as an Atoka County judge. This unincorporated community along State Highway 131 preserves the legacy of early Oklahoma settlement, where 53 residents today maintain deep roots in Choctaw Nation history. Wearing Wardville gear means representing Atoka County pride and Oklahoma's pioneer spirit. Hometown Supply Co delivers quality apparel for locals and visitors who value authentic small-town connection.
