WILLIMANTIC GEAR

Willimantic has a rich industrial legacy rooted in the 19th century. Founded in 1893, this former city earned the nickname "Thread City" thanks to the iconic American Thread Company mills that once thrived along the Willimantic River. Those historic mills shaped the community's character and remain a symbol of the area's entrepreneurial spirit and resilience through changing times. Represent Willimantic and Connecticut with pride. Hometown Supply Co's Willimantic apparel collection lets you carry your town's heritage wherever you go, connecting you to the broader Southeastern Connecticut community and beyond.
